Arrival, Registration & Project Element Submission
21 teams representing 14 countries converged on the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry UK today to begin their campaign to be crowned the 2016 Land Rover 4×4 in Schools World Champions. Team Australia consisting of Zircon and the Wombat Warriors were issued with Registration times of 2.45pm and 3.00pm respectively, immediately thereafter moving on to submitting their 4×4 vehicles for Scrutineering against the technical regulations which is conducted in front of the team. The great news is that BOTH teams passed with flying colours achieving full marks of 60/60. What a fantastic start to their challenge!
With this stressful process out of the way, Team Australia headed out to relaxed dinner and back for an early night in preparation for a full day’s cultural activities tomorrow.
