Outback STEM Education Initiative
Connecting Cities With The Bush
Australia is a large continent with settlements dotted hundreds of kilometres apart throughout The Outback but there is no reason why they should miss out on STEM education.
The Outback STEM Education Initiative™ is the bridge that connects remote regions to the cities.
Re-Engineering Australia Foundation is on a mission to take world-best applied learning to the smallest classrooms, as far north as Thursday Island in the Torres Strait. Not only have we introduced The Outback to F1inSchools STEM Challenge, Land Rover 4×4 in Schools Technology Challenge, Jaguar Primary School Challenge and Subs in Schools Technology Challenge… we have connected these students with our schools in the cities.
This unique level of collaboration has enabled young people from The Outback to discover what city life is like, and vice versa.
