STEM Education World Tour 2016
SEE THE WORLD…THROUGH THE EYES OF THE WORLDS BEST INNOVATORS!
We’re planning a STEM Educational World Tour, which will have students, and teachers coming face to face with the worlds best technology and the worlds leading organisations across a broad range of STEM fields.
… AND YOU’RE INVITED…
That is … if you’re a Teacher or a Student … because this trip is aimed at inspiring our next generation of innovators.
We have drawn on the business relationships we have developed around the world over the past 30 years and asked them to open their doors for 200 lucky young Australians.
ONLY VISIONARIES NEED APPLY!
This will be the 12th time REA has taken Australian Students overseas to explore what’s possible … but it will be only the second complete round-the-world STEM Education Tour we have run. The tour is being planned for the mid year school holidays in 2016 over a 3-4 week period … and it will be our best yet.
WE”RE AIMING TO EXCITE!
We want to excite students by bringing them face to face with the technology and the senior executives responsible for running the worlds most advanced STEM organisations … meeting and greeting the best.
The tour is aimed to be better than any history tour of Europe … better than any science tour of Houston … This will be the ultimate educational experience providing exposure to the broadest range of Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths possible … designed specifically for those students who want to become our next generation of innovators.
The itinerary we have currently penciled-in includes the following cities and organisation;
Tokyo: Toyota City
Ulsan Korea: Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard,
Stuttgart, Germany: Mercedes Benz & Porsche,
Geneva Switzerland: Large Hadron Collider,
Copenhagen Denmark: Siemens Wind Power
London: RED Bull F1, McLaren F1 and Jaguar Land Rover,
Detroit: Daimler Chrysler & Ford Design Centres,
Houston Texas: NASA Space Centre,
Seattle: Microsoft & BOEING,
San Francisco: Google & Stanford University
Los Angeles: Disney Studios & Frank Gehry Partners,
… This agenda is very full and we will be finely tuning it as we firm up within the constraints of cost and time. Given the estimates we currently have for the Australian Dollar 12 months out, our initial estimate of the all-inclusive cost of a 4-week trip will be in the order of $8,500 to $10,000 per person.
We are looking for schools that would be interested in participating in this journey of a lifetime.
